What happens when a box is sold out?
It’s rare, but if that month’s box becomes the hottest thing since sliced bread and sells out, new members will get the next month’s box. We’ll keep you in the loop during checkout.
How do I update my account information?
When should I update my account details for next month's box?
We process monthly shipments on the 10th of each month. So for example, if you need to update your shipping address for October’s box, get that update in by October 9th at 11:59 PM EST the latest!

How long will I be a Cook with Bon Appétit Box Member? When does my membership expire?
You're the chef in this kitchen, so your membership lasts as long as you want it to. It auto-renews at your current rate, and we’ll notify you at least 30 days before if your rate ever changes.
Can I change my subscription term (from monthly or quarterly to yearly or vice versa)?

How do I get my complimentary digital access to Bon Appétit and Epicurious?
Visit www.bonappetit.com/access and use the unique promo code provided in your Cook with Bon Appétit Welcome Email to get your digital subscription to Bon Appétit and Epicurious, which is included with your Cook with Bon Appétit membership. You must enter the promo code in order to not be charged. Be sure to use the same email address that you used for your Cook with Bon Appétit membership. If you have questions about the redemption process, please contact Cook with Bon Appétit Customer Care at 1-844-925-2665 or help@cookwithbonappetit.com.
What If I already have an existing Bon Appétit or Epicurious digital-only subscription?
If you already have an existing Bon Appétit or Epicurious digital-only subscription, please reach out to our customer care teams and a member of our team will assist you with applying the code to your existing subscription so that you are not charged when it automatically renews. Bon Appétit subscribers can call the care team at 1-855-756-1671 or email us at help@bonappetit.com. Epicurious subscribers can contact customer care at 1-855-753-1037 or email us at help@epicurious.com.
Can I use promotional codes?
Promotional codes are available from time to time. They’re one-use per customer and can’t be combined with other offers. Past purchases can’t be adjusted, and additional restrictions may apply.

What payment method can I use to sign up for a membership?

When will I be billed for my Cook with Bon Appétit Box membership renewal?
Monthly Plan: On or about the 10th of the month
Quarterly Plan: On or about the 10th, every 3 months from when you subscribe
Annual: You'll receive a renewal notice 30 days before your annual renewal billing
I was charged for a box last month and then got charged again for the current month, but I still haven't received my boxes. Is this a mistake?
It’s probably not a mistake. Here's how it works: As a new member, you're billed for your first box the day you sign up. All future boxes will be billed on or around the 10th of each month. So because of this timing, if you start your new subscription within a few days of the 10th of the month, then you'll likely be charged for your second box before you receive your first box. That just means more great recipes to try that month!
What happens to my membership if you can't successfully bill me for my next renewal term?
Do you ship the Cook with Bon Appetit Box to U.S Territories, APO/FPO, or international addresses?
Currently, we ship within the Contiguous United States only. Check back for updates, and if we expand, you’ll be the first to know!
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping on subscription boxes is always FREE!
How can I track my package?
Once your order ships, we’ll email from hello@cookwithbonappetit.com to let you know and will include your tracking info. You can also log into your account here or contact customer care here for status updates.
When does the Cook with Bon Appétit Box ship?
We ship within 2-4 business days from processing. Sometimes, we even beat our own estimates so you could get cooking sooner!
I never received my box...now what?
Uh oh! First, check to see if we shipped your order and check your tracking details. If it says delivered but you haven’t received it, contact our Customer Care Team here. If your package hasn’t moved in 5 days, let us know and we’ll sort it out. If you haven’t received our shipping email and don’t see the charge, we may have an issue billing you.
Can I choose the ingredients in my box?
Each box is meticulously curated to bring you the best recipes and ingredients. While customization isn’t available, we guarantee you’ll find something you love in every box.
I am allergic to one of the ingredients in my box. What should I do?
The Cook with Bon Appétit Box collaborates with third-party brands and manufacturers. While we take utmost care to ensure the quality and safety of our products, we cannot be held liable for any unlikely adverse reactions that may occur. It is your responsibility to thoroughly review the box and its contents upon delivery, inspect all products and their ingredients before use or consumption, and follow any included instructions for safe food storage, handling and preparation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our customer care team.
I loved one of the ingredients from a previous month and I can’t find it anywhere! Can I buy it through my membership?
We’re so happy to hear you loved your box. If we have the ingredient available, we’re happy to sell it to you. If not, we’ll help you find it elsewhere. Either way Contact our Customer Care Team here and we’ll be more than happy to help.

How do I send a Cook with Bon Appétit subscription as a gift?
The best way to give a Cook with Bon Appétit Box Membership is by purchasing a Digital Gift Card. These are available for anyone to purchase! We offer Gift Cards in set increments of $50, $100, $200, $350. You can visit us here to purchase a gift card.
Do Cook With Bon Appétit Gift Cards expire?
Cook with Bon Appétit Box Gift Cards do not expire and there are no fees associated with use of a Gift Card. Gift Cards may only be used to purchase products and services on cookwithbonappetit.com. After purchase of a Gift Card, an electronic Gift Card code will be emailed to the designated recipient for use toward purchases on cookwithbonappetit.com. Gift Card recipients must be or become a Cook with Bon Appetit member and agree to and comply with these Gift Card Terms . Gift Cards can only be used as initial payments, they may not be used for recurring subscription payments.
How do I redeem a gift card?
Head to cookwithbonappetit.com and select your new membership! You can use the Gift Card during checkout and the Gift Card amount will be discounted from the total. Gift Cards can only be used as initial payments, they may not be used for recurring subscription payments.
Because the Cook with Bon Appetit Box is a subscription-based service and subject to our Box Subscription Terms, you will need to enter your credit card details to finish signing up even if the Gift Card amount will cover the initial purchase amount.
General Gift Card Terms
Gift Cards are only available in USD and memberships can only be fulfilled to US addresses. Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods on cookwithbonappetit.com. Eligible purchases and pricing of such goods are subject to change in our sole discretion. Any remaining account credit associated with a cookwithbonappetit.com account following redemption of a Gift Card cannot be transferred to other accounts. Memberships purchased with Gift Cards will be automatically renewed after the applicable term expires unless otherwise cancelled.
Gift Cards are single-use. If used at checkout, the Gift Card amount will be applied to the total purchase amount at checkout. Gift Card balances cannot be used for recurring payments on subscriptions. If the Gift Card holder's purchase exceeds the amount of the Gift Card's balance or available credit, the Gift Card holder must pay the difference.
Gift Cards are not returnable for a cash refund, redeemable for cash, or redeemable for more than face value. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold Gift Cards without notice. In such instances, other than for suspected fraud, we will elect to produce a refund or a replacement Gift Card. We reserve the right to correct the balance of Gift Cards issued in an incorrect denomination if we believe that a clerical or accounting error has occurred.
My box and/or some of its contents arrived damaged. Can I get replacements?
Oh no! We want you to have a flawless experience every time. Contact our Customer Care Team here and we’ll make it right.
One of the items is missing from my box. Can I get it sent to me separately?
Every box comes with a mini magazine that lists out what comes in that box. So if something is listed in the mini magazine that's not in your box, contact us here and we’ll ship it out or send an item of the same value.
I just cancelled my subscription. Will I still receive my replacement item?
Yes, you’ll still get your replacement item if you requested it before cancellation.
How do I cancel my membership?
Oh no - before you cancel can we help you solve a problem? Please contact our Customer Care Team and we’ll be happy to help you! But if you still need to cancel, just log into your account here or contact our Customer Care Team here. Note, memberships are non-refundable and your cancellation will be in effect at the end of your billing cycle
I paid for my box but cancelled my subscription right after. Will I still receive my box?
Yes, you’ll receive any boxes you’ve already paid for.
What's the deadline for cancelling my subscription so I won’t be billed next?
- Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-Annual subscribers: to avoid any additional charges, be sure to cancel before to the 10th of the month.
- Annual Subscribers: we'll email you 30 days before your renewal date with your membership charge information. Be sure to cancel your membership before the renewal date in that email to avoid any charges.
